No! Bamboi® is 5% cheaper than average toilet paper. When comparing toilet paper, it's important to look at the number of layers and sheets per roll. With a subscription and including shipping costs, Bamboi® costs €0.94 per roll. That's €0.022/meter compared to €0.026/meter for average toilet paper. Because a roll of Bamboi® is 2.5 times longer, you save more per meter.

Why are the rolls wrapped?

The rolls are individually wrapped in bamboo paper and printed with vegetable ink. The wrappers are biodegradable and provide a sustainable alternative to plastic. This keeps the toilet paper hygienic, clean and soft during transport and storage. The boxes are made of recycled cardboard and serve as a logistical aid, making the wrappers the only packaging.
